  • Verify Information: Share accurate and factual content
  • Respect Privacy: Don't share others' personal information
  • Give Credit: Acknowledge sources and original creators

❌ Don'ts

  • Harassment or Bullying: No threatening, intimidating, or demeaning behavior
  • Hate Speech: No discrimination based on race, religion, gender, or identity
  • Spam: No repetitive posts, unsolicited promotions, or irrelevant content
  • Misinformation: Don't spread false or misleading information
  • Inappropriate Content: No sexually explicit, violent, or offensive material
  • Impersonation: Don't pretend to be someone else
  • Plagiarism: Don't copy others' work without attribution
  • Illegal Activities: No promotion of illegal activities or content

Content Guidelines

Study Groups & Events

  • Clearly describe the purpose and expectations
  • Maintain active participation and engagement
  • Follow through on commitments and schedules
  • Respect group privacy and confidentiality

Reporting Violations

How to Report

If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines:

  1. Click the three dots on the post/comment
  2. Select "Report" and choose a reason
  3. Provide additional context if needed
  4. Our team will review within 24 hours

Consequences

Violations of these guidelines may result in:

  1. Warning: First-time minor violations
  2. Content Removal: Inappropriate posts/comments deleted
  3. Temporary Suspension: 7-30 days for repeated violations
  4. Permanent Ban: Severe or repeated violations

Appeals

If you believe action was taken in error:

  • Email team@alumconn.in with "Appeal" in the subject line
  • Include your account details and explanation
  • We will review within 3-5 business days
